Babinda

You can spend 2 days or more visiting all the wonderful spots on this map. On your way to or from Cairns, take turnoff at Babinda to the Boulders.

Coconut-fringed Bramston Beach is just 13 km from the highway (turnoff just south of Miriwinni). Have lunch or swim. Returning (6 km), take turnoff to Eubenangee Swamp N.P. Follow walking track to Lookout (remember insect repellent).
After walk, continue south past historic Garradunga Hotel. Follow Old Bruce Hwy and signs around to left to Flying Fish Point/Innisfail (alternate route).

You must turn left if you wish to visit the popular Johnstone River Crocodile Farm. Continue to the Coconuts (turnoff to right to view the mouth of the river) and Flying Fish Point ramp for a spot of fishing or to visit the panoramic Environmental Park & Lookout.
Follow road to Flying Fish Point Caravan Park if you're looking for beachside accommodation, then on to shady, secluded Ella Bay N.P. and beach. Council has provided for overnight camping & facilities.
